Strangers Coffee Company is an independent coffee brand with three locations across Norwich: a café, a roastery, and a takeaway site. Established in 2009, Strangers is firmly rooted in the city’s coffee scene and is known for serving only speciality-grade coffee, roasted all on-site at their roastery.

Alongside its shops, Strangers wholesales coffee to businesses across the UK and operates an online shop, making its carefully sourced coffees accessible far beyond Norwich. The brand champions quality, craft, and traceability, curating an ever-changing selection of exciting coffees from producers around the world.

Founded in 2009 by Alex Sargeant and Samuel Maddocks, with William Maddocks joining in 2014, Strangers Coffee Company has grown into a multi-site, multisite award winning company. Since the companiey’creation, they have continued to hone their craft, with a strong focus on the quality and ethics of the coffees they source, roast, and serve.

Our business is built on the knowledge, passion, and dedication of our team, without them, Strangers wouldn’t be what it is today. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff across all locations are always on hand to answer your coffee-related questions, from brewing the perfect cup at home to understanding the many coffee processes.
